With a tube sealing pliers, you can seal a copper or aluminum pipe temporarily, without the need to cut or solder it. Thus, repairs or modifications can be made to the refrigeration or air conditioning system, without the coolant escaping.

Details: For pipes from 1/8 in to 1/4 in (3 to 6 millimeters)
DIY: To temporarily seal the pipe, clamp it between the jaws of the pliers and rotate the handle so that the piercing tip seals it from the inside. The pliers are held in position until the repair or modification is completed and then removed, releasing the sealed pipe by the pressure of the coolant liquid.
