What to take in consideration on selecting the pipe and insulation size

The importance of the correct selection of the pipe diameter.

When we are going to select copper pipes we find several alternatives that can make a big difference when developing the system and that is why today I share different important data for the correct selection.

First we must determine if the pipe is made of steel, copper or PVC among others.

If the pipe is copper for refrigeration or air conditioning, the internal measurement (O.D.) must be used to make the selection so that all the pipe calculations are correct.

If the pipe to be used is Iron or PVC for refrigeration or air conditioning, the internal diameter or nominal size measurement must be used to make the selection so that all the pipe calculations are correct.
